Jamil Naqsh at Asia House
The artist Jamil Naqsh features in a new exhibition, The Painted Word, 8-31 August 2013, at Asia House, London.
The Painted Word is the final instalment of a large exhibition of calligraphy, portraiture and other works by the Pakistani artist, organised by Albemarle Gallery. Naqsh is resident in London.
The exhibition will showcase more than 200 paintings, including works on the theme of The 99 Names of God, calligraphed verses in praise of God and selected large and small calligraphic canvases, with a further 70 works concurrently on display in a selling exhibition at Albemarle Gallery.

The exhibition is accompanied by a book/catalogue (pictured) in two hard cover editions, a limited cloth-bound version selling as signed by the artist and accompanied by an original painting on paper. Albemarle Gallery, 49 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4JR
