Art auction for Macmillan cancer charity
A contemporary art auction aiming to raise cash for people with cancer will feature early portraits of Kate Moss, computer art by Ringo Starr and the chance to appear in one of Alison Jackson’s photos.
The seventh annual Macmillan De’Longhi art exhibition and auction will take place over four days starting 20 September 2013.
The auction at the Royal College of Art also features works by Rankin, Mary McCartney, The Chapman Brothers, Jonathan Yeo and Turner Prize winner Tomma Abts. All artists donated their work for the charity event, which was sponsored by Italian coffee machine brand De’Longhi.
The Macmillan Cancer Support fund-raising art auction has raised GBP 800,000 since inception in 2007.
